Each studio will have a separate entrance and exit to reduce traffic in hallways.

All students must have:
- A water bottle
- Compulsory uniform – already dressed where possible
Dance Direction will provide:
- Sanitary wipes
- Hand sanitiser
When at the studio:
- Please arrive at the studio dressed and ready to dance. Avoid complete wardrobe changes while in the building. If a change must be made, please do so one at a time in the bathrooms.
- There will be a free flow of air through the studios by keeping doors and windows open.
- Stay home if you feel any symptoms (even mildly) or are feeling ill.
- Keep a physical distance of at least 2m from others.
- Hands must be washed frequently and thoroughly for at least 20 seconds.
- All surfaces you come into contact with will be cleaned at the end of class.
- We may use a temperature monitor in the studio if necessary.
Arriving and leaving Balaclava Road church studios:
Each studio will have a separate entrance and exit to reduce traffic in hallways.
- Front studio: Enter through the doors at the front of the hall on Balaclava Road. Exit toward the back of the hall on the left-hand side. Students will be guided out into the passage where parents can pick up the students. You will see a brown gate that parents can wait at for their children to be handed back.
- Back studio: Enter the studio from the Electric Parade Side entrance and exit on the opposite side of the studio. Students will be guided out into the passage where parents can pick up the students. You will see a brown gate that parents can wait at for their children to be handed back.
All studio venues:
- We’ve staggered class start/stop times to allow 15 minutes between each class to sanitise and defog every studio.
- Upon entering the studio, apply hand sanitiser, which can be found near the doors.
- Wipe down your barre before and after class. Disposable wipes will be located near the doors.
- Bring your own water bottle to stay hydrated.
- While in the studios, always keep a physical distance of at least 2m from others, while standing, waiting in line (to go across the floor), and/or dancing.
- The studios will be marked with crosses and safely managed by all the teachers who are COVID trained.
